I have really bad acne around my mouth?

i have really bad acne around my mouth. My dad took me to the dermatologist awhile ago and they gave me this stuff and it worked but i stopped using it since it irritated my skin. I started using proactive but it also irritated my skin so i stopped using it. I started using proactive again about 2 weeks ago and its doesn%26#039;t seem like the acne%26#039;s showing much improvement, i use it twice a day. How long does proactive take till i start seeing results? Does it seem to not be working for me? What would you suggest i use?|||you just need to keep going back to the dermatologist til they get it right for your skin. There are many treatments, so don%26#039;t give up.





Often times skin can get acne from being irritated.





2 people in our family used proactive and it didn%26#039;t work for us very well. we used it for a total of 2 years. we both ended up on medication and wash our faces with OTC Cetaphil. It%26#039;s very gentle non-soap cleanser. be gentle.|||Acne Free In 3 Days.

|||It does sound like contact dermatitis. Something you are touching with your mouth. I got an acne breakout once from work and using the phone that others used. Apparently this is common about phones. But if it is all around (phones tend to be on the side you listen with), I%26#039;m wondering if it is a new lip gloss, chap stick, lipstick, water bottle, etc. Doctors just give you stuff to mask the symptoms, you%26#039;ll have to be a detective to figure it out. My last patch of psoriasis just cleared up since I moved into a NO carpet home, so sometimes its hard to know what the source is.|||proactive doesn%26#039;t work for everyone... that%26#039;s really all i have to say, and also that the people who say its herpes are really insensitive and rather stupid as he states that hes been to a dermatologist. Obviously he/she would have identified it|||I would go to the dermatologist again and follow the doctor%26#039;s directions. Tell the doctor what you told us.|||herpes, its for life.|||if its around your mouth i don%26#039;t think its acne .......sorry|||eww|||u probably have herpes....stop doin nasty thingz....JESUS!!!!!!
