My son is 14 and he has acne bad what is good to clear it up or to help with his oily face....?

Lots of vitamin A. That is what expensive $500 acutane is that I took when I was 14 and had a pizza on my face. However, make sure you do your research and find out how much to take so he does not overdose. A good way to prohibit this is to eat lots and lots of carrots, or any foods rich in beta carotene; the safest vitamin A for you and will store up in the body is used as it is needed. Make sure when your taking high doses of vitamin A that you keep the rest of your body hydrated with lots of water and chapstick for your lips. Try lots and lots of carrot juice or pills three times a day, morning, noon, and night. MAKE SURE HE KEEPS HIS FACE CLEAN ALL THE TIME. The bacteria is what causes pimples, try Purpose Soap!|||If it is bad take him to your doc for antibiotic therapy to help get the staph bacteria under control.|||Have you ever tried Beautiful Skin? 2. do not sleep late and have at least 8 hours of sleep everyday.

3. drink plenty of water 12 to 14 glasses daily

4. do bowel movements at least once a day ( twice is ideal one after bedtime and another before bedtime).

Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne鈥?prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symptoms and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.

For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it鈥檚 advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.

Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:
