When u have acne and want to clear it up,is useing moisturizer good or bad? and like a good kind not cheap?

depends on your skin type. if you have oily skin it wont help your skin although it wont hurt it either. if you have really dry skin thats where lotion comes in to help with acne. or if you have a really good deep cleaning facewash and your face is left slighty raw or dryed out.|||ALWAYS use moisturizer. Even if you have oily skin! You don%26#039;t need to spend a lot of money (actually, the more expensive ones are usually overpriced and worse for your skin in general because all of the special %26quot;extra%26quot; pore-clogging ingredients). You need to make sure that whatever moisturizer you use says either hypo allergenic or non comedagenic. If it does not state either of these, then DO NOT USE IT! Just saying %26quot;oil free%26quot; is not enough. Most of the more expensive moisturizers don%26#039;t have these labels. You%26#039;ll find the best moisturizers for acne prone skin in the drug store. Look for Aveeno facial moisturizer, cetaphil, and even look for the hypo allergenic/non comedagenic store brand. And sometimes, you can get the non c/hypo al moisturizers with spf 15.|||I don%26#039;t know what kind of moisturizer you are referring to. But bear in mind that you have acne because your glads are active. Most people who have acne have oily skin.( Do you have oily skin?) So, using moisturizer with certain amount of oil will only make that acne worst, that includes bath soaps. Frequent washing of the face to remove the oil helps.|||You should wear moisturizer every day because it helps keep the skin from getting dry and most have sunscreen in them. Also they protect skin, improve tone, and texture, and many have salicylic acid which is the main ingredient used to treat acne.|||using moisturizer isn%26#039;t bad when you have acne. you still need some moisture in your skin and it helps in soothing out irritation and over drying. it depends on how much of it you put and if the moisturizer is too much of a greasy type (oil based).. cuz if it is.. then your acne will never go away. u should try to find a light moisturizer ..one that is oil free..gel based and/or one that has acne fighting components. and also... moisturizers that are non-comedogenic .. (doesn%26#039;t clog pores)..because how else does acne form? .. clogged pores.

Is toothpaste for acne bad for you?

Okay, so I have mild acne and one smallish acne scar. And I%26#039;ve used products that include, but dont limit to; Neutrogena, Clean and Clear, Stridex pads, Clearasil pads etc. and I recently got Clean and Clear and it wasnt giving me ANY results if anything it made it worse and so this morning right after i got out of the shower i was sooo fed up with acne and i havent even gotton dressed and saw my COLGATE MAX WHITE WITH MINI WHITE STRIPS鈩?toothpaste and i put it on my acne and it burned insanely and so i was gonna keep it on there til it got done burning but it was taking foreva and so i washed it off and went to get dressed and came back and put it back on and it didnt burn as bad and after a while my acne was going away. and right now i have somemore back on because im really trying to get my acne looking better because im going back to school tomorrow from summer break!!starting 7th! and so does anybody think that it could be bad for my skin in any way? i mean there%26#039;s no irritation or anything but from experience has anyone had problems with it and plz dont recommend any other products because im asking about toothpaste!!not trying to be rude tho!plz answer|||It shouldn%26#039;t be...because my cousin showed me that trick....and it never messed with her skin...it actually helped!! I think it only burns because it%26#039;s WORKING!! So when it burns like that, It usually means it%26#039;s working on breaking down acne cells. Hope that helps :-)!!!!!!!! Is makeup bad for acne?

As long as i can remember iv always used makeup to hide acne marks and redness, so about 8 months iv been using it, my acne has gotten to a point were its really bad, iv stopped using it for about a day now and i just wanna know if my cover up could be causing my acne to spread and get worse? Im a guy by the way.|||Try going off of dairy products (cheese, milk and ANY other) for one month and see what happens. You may see a DRAMATIC difference.|||If you do use cover up to hide acne it is CRUCIAL that the cover up does not have oil in it. Get an oil-free formula. Also, since bacteria thrives on your hands, buy a supply of soft sponges to apply the make up and use a new one every time to eliminate the spreading of bacteria on your face. Use a oil free cleanser twice daily. If acne persists, you can get a prescription pill or cream to help resolve it.|||get bareminerals.

its kidna expensive but it actually helped me get rid of acne

i even sleep in it some nights, on accident of course.

any kind of mineral make up is better than cover up

cover up has so much stuff in it that is harmful to your skin

i would say try mineral makeup, and if it dosen%26#039;t help you out, then go to a dermotologist|||Wash your face with dawn dish soap with bleach. I know it sounds crazy, but it really helped me. If Dawn can take grease out of dirty dishes, it can help get the grease off my face. For makeup use the stuff where it says won%26#039;t clog pores. Stay away from oils. Also try exfoliating, dead skin can also cause acne.|||yeah .. get a coverup thats oil free or non-comegenic or whatever that word is

i use cover-up and its oil free and it doesnt make my acne worse

i take it off after school and clean my face again

try a mineral makeup|||it depends..... some coverup even has acne medication in it and if you get natural cosmetics they usually arent bad for your skin|||dont buy the cheap products, a lot of them are designed for teenage skins so should be okay|||yes

Sweaty palms... bad breath... acne... what can i do about these problems??

lets start with my hands... my hands get sweaty too much! when i get nervous my arm pits dont sweat... my hands do.. say when i go to an amusement park i get so excited and wanting/ waiting to have fun my plams sweat! i try rubbing them on my jeans and it never helps! what can i do???

bad breath... i have halitosis because my sinuses are blocked. i use medicine and my throat is ichy from the allergies! its bugging me! i dont floss because my teeth bleed and i dont like that! i havent flossed for 6-7 months what kind of floss should i use??

i have bad acne and on a low budget! i dont like the info-mercials... they cost too much... what can i do??

i need you help!! please help!!|||The International Hyperhidrosis Society divides the severity of Palmar Hyperhidrosis or Excessive Hand Sweating into four subgroups. Group one consists of patients that have mild hand sweating that does not cause any functional or social problems. On the other end of the spectrum are patients with excessive hand sweating at a level of wetness described as dripping affecting them on a daily basis. Patients from the last group rarely have benefit from conservative measures such as Drysol, Drionic, Maxim, Oral Medications, or Botox, and an operation may be necessary. The operation is known as Thoracic Sympathectomy. Click on the 1st link to learn more.

Store shelves are overflowing with mints, mouthwashes and other products designed to help people control bad breath. Yet these products help control bad breath (halitosis) only temporarily. Click on the 2nd link for more on halitosis.

Acne treatments work by reducing oil production, speeding up skin cell turnover, fighting bacterial infection or doing all three. With most prescription acne treatments, you may not see results for four to eight weeks, and your skin may get worse before it gets better. Click on the 3rd link to learn more.|||your overall health is not good with all these problems bleeding of the gums is a sign of gingvitius and that is because u DONT brush and floss enough and you have to brush ur tounge as well or get a tounge scraper eat parsley for bad breath wash ur wash EVERY morning AND night and dont touch ur face the hand thing is a condition that requires surgery ive had sweaty hands all my life get over it|||A couple things: For the breath, brush regularly, floss, and rinse with Listerine. As for the type of floss to use, I found some (can%26#039;t remember the brand) that%26#039;s infused with toothpaste. It%26#039;s like a looser woven floss so it might be more gentle on your gums. You might try also using a tongue scraper. Try Dr. Katz%26#039;s Thera Breath toothpaste and breath strips. Sugar free gum and mints.

I%26#039;ve had acne (blackheads--not terrible but there) for a long time. I just recently found a combination that is working on it. Morning: Scrub face with St. Ives Apricot scrub for oily skin. Wash with Noxzema. Apply Mary Kay Acne Treatment Gel (I think that%26#039;s what it%26#039;s called) and increase use of it as the tube instructs. Evening: Wash with Noxzema and apply the Mary Kay gel. The St. Ives is under $4, I think and the Mary Kay gel is about $7.

Not sure about the palms. You could try rubbing them with one of those natural crystal deodorants every day.

Drink lots of water and eat a healthy diet. Exercise some and get a touch of sunshine and fresh air every day. Good luck.|||don%26#039;t worry bout the sweaty hands for now. But its VERY important to floss at least twice daily, or even once is good too. Don%26#039;t pay attention to the bleeding. Ur gums bleed, because there is bacteria. And when the blood comes out, the pain %26amp; bad breath will eventually go away. Go to Rite Aid %26amp; buy a good cream for ur acne. U should pick that one on ur own. And for ur sweaty hands, try putting armpit deordorent on them. Trust me, it really helps!

Im usin proactive for acne and its workin a lil i guess im getn bad dry skin tho moisterizer help please?

does anyone know a moisturizer that will not make me break out??|||Try a dead Sea Mud Mask- it not only detoxes, but it moisturises, cleans and helps your acne. Dead Sea Mud soaps are equally as nice! We resolved my daughters acne this way:-) Blessings, Laura|||Proactiv has their own line of moisturizers- try those! They%26#039;ll even help clear up your skin faster! I use Neutrogena Healthy Skin moisturizer.. if you use too much it makes your skin kinda oily but if you only use a little bit it works well, and is oil-free so it wont make you break out :)|||Use a lotion. I suggest any moisturizer from Bath %26amp; Body works. They have amazing scents, and it heals dry skin fast! AMAZING FACE CREAMS!

Ivory soap and soaps that contain glycerin work wonders for me. I%26#039;m also a big advocate of drinking lots of water. It may not help with the acne per se, but it will reduce a lot of the ashiness/rough texture that often accompanies acne.

Oh yeah--earlier you responded to my question. The one called, %26quot;A Poll--I%26#039;m Curious%26quot;. You answered, %26quot;9. someone who is not as nosy as you.%26quot; I may have seemed nosy, but my reason was that all of the traits I listed were traits that I possess. Yet, I%26#039;ve never met anyone with whom I have all those traits in common. I was wondering if I%26#039;m the only one. I have good relationships with people who are sometimes almost totally different, but I was just curious.|||I think you could get a prescription for accutane. Something that might help a little, try washing your pillow case every other day. My husband has pretty oily skin so I have to do that with his pillow case. A lot of yours is probably age and hormone related so accutane will probably really help. But the pillow thing might help some.|||yes, your%26#039;s looks like mine and my doc said that she%26#039;ll put me on anytime... though I%26#039;m trying a lesser method first for 2 months before I start the process for isotretinoin since being female requires birth control too.|||yes. you should go to your dermatologist immediately! hope you get clear soon:)

I used to have acne pretty bad, but after a while of taking medication, they went away. Then came cysts.?

I%26#039;m not sure if I spelt cysts right. But ya, after a while of medications, all my acne was gone. So I became hard into drinking, and then came cysts. When I was little I had a cyst on my face once, and I havnt seen it since then. But then about 2 years ago, the cysts started coming again. And they are like all over my body. So my dermatologist gave me accutane. And it worked pretty good for the cysts on my head, face, and back. But ones I have on my chest, buttocks, and down there have a hard time going away. It seems that whenever I drink they just get stronger. Is it my drinking causing the problem?|||You might try changing what you put into your body, but I would also suggest going to see a doctor regarding the recurrence of these lesions. The reason I say this that I suffered from what I thought was %26quot;adult acne%26quot; for most of my adult life. I went to the dermatologist and was prescribed antibiotics (tetracycline) and accutane for the %26quot;acne.%26quot; Antibiotics did nothing for me, and the accutane cleared up the facial issues. However, it did nothing to address the recurrences that were appearing in other areas of my body.

I would get boil-like (or cyst-like) lesions on the buttocks, breasts, groin, inner thighs, and underarms. These lesions are painful and leave scars when they heal. However, NONE of the doctors I saw prior to 2004 could tell me what was going on with my body. Finally, in the latter part of 2004, I was diagnosed with a skin condition called Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS). Unfortunately, there are not many doctors who are familiar with this condition; however, if you will check out the links below, you might be able to find a doctor who can tell if you have HS or not.

I wish you luck and, if you need more information, please do not hesitate to let me know ...|||My skin problems are similar to yours. I didn%26#039;t have acne untilI was around 23. I had some when I was 18 but not bad. However, when I was 23, I got cystic acne. I%26#039;d get these huge cysts on my face that would fill up with yucky stuff-like a really nasty pimple-and it would hurt. Anyway, I took the accutane and it went away. Now that I look back, when I was 18 I smoked a lot and drank a lot. I quit when I was pregnant and for three years after I had my daughter and my face was fine. However, when I was 23 I started smoking and drinking again and I got cystic acne which I had to get medicine for to clear up. I am oldernow anddon;t smoke and drink only every now and then. again? I%26#039;ve tried benzoyl peroxide and sulfur. I don%26#039;t want to go out in public it%26#039;s getting so bad. Please help!|||try Tend Skin

it%26#039;s for ingrown hairs but works wonders for acne, as long as your not allergic to aspirin you can use it

I use this when Im desperate!|||I know people with the same problem and they went to the doctor for it and everything but nothing worked.

All i can say is make sure you don%26#039;t wash your face too much because people said it made it worse sometimes.

I have proactiv and clearasil pads that i try to use.

I don%26#039;t know if i really helped because everyone%26#039;s skin is different but good luck!|||I also use to have bad acne on my forehead, nose %26amp; chin area. I stopped using over the counter chemicals (astrigent, benzoyl, etc) since it made my face worse, i than started to just use St Ives Apricot scrub 2 times a week %26amp; than used Olay Active Hydrating facial lotion. Ever since i%26#039;ve been acne free, its been 3 years. But what might have worked for me, might not really work for you, so the only best way to know about your skin is to go to a dermatologist. Good Luck.|||The best stuff to use is Fostril .

You will probably have to ask your pharmacist to order it, but you don%26#039;t need a perscription.

It%26#039;s a medicated drying lotion made by Westwood-Squibb.

I used it when I was young and my friends mother used it. I told a co-worker about it that was soon to get married, and she was shocked that her face cleared up before her wedding.

You may be able to find it on-line too.|||you should try proactive.

I recommend that you go to a dermalogist so he prescribe you something that will work on your skin.|||go see your dermatoligist. He might be able to perscribe you a cream to put on your face.

Does being in the sun make acne worse?

I live in Southern California, so I%26#039;m in the sun and at the beach all the time. Does being in the sun make acne worse or bigger?|||No thats a myth

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>|||No.

If you sweat alot that could make your acne worse especially if you don%26#039;t clean your face during the day and at night.

The Sun is actually good for you, your body needs sunlight to produce seratonin and Vitamin D. But, if you are in the sun too much, so much that you get a sunburn then it is bad for you and can cause skin cancer.

It is kind of a vicious cycle- Your body needs sunlight, but if it is hot, then you sweat, which can make acne worse, and if you are in the sun alot you need to wear sunscreen, which can clog your pores and cause acne-

Solution...

*Look for Non-Comedogenic Sunscreen which means that it won%26#039;t clog your pores.

*Stay in the shade as much as possible, you%26#039;re still getting sun, but not too much

*Wear a hat

*Wash your face as soon as you get home from the beach or working outside, and wash your face at night (Find a gentle cleanser that you like and that doesn%26#039;t dry out your skin)

Good luck, I hope that helped some :)|||No, generally tanning can make acne better. What can make it worse after tanning is the sweat, dirt, sunblock, and skin that ends up peeling. Make sure you cleanse your skin really well at the end of the day and use a gentle exfoliator. You should also use a sunscreen that%26#039;s specially designed for faces that doesn%26#039;t have oil in it and won%26#039;t clog your pores.|||i have acne and have for 4 years. if anything, I heard the the sun HELPS acne. it does for me. yu kindaa just tan over it and its less noticeable. if yur in the sun too much and dont use sunscreen then obv the sun can harm yur skin. but that%26#039;s why I love summer, my acne is less noticeable. but be sure to use sunscreen. good luck !|||Acne Help Centre

Is it a bad idea to put vaseline on your face? Does it cause acne or make it worse?

It would definitely make acne worse because it will clog your pores with grease and make your skin very greasy. There are lots of other lighter moisturizers to use. I wouldn%26#039;t use it unless your skin was seriously burned or chapped in some manner ( windburn maybe) .|||If your skin has the tendency to break out, vaseline will make it 1,000 times worse! If you have dry skin, use it in moderation.|||just use a really good moisturizer, vaseline is horrible alone on your face

ARE THESE INGREDIENTS IN MINERAL MAKEUP BAD FOR ACNE PRONE SKIN?

Active Ingredient: Zinc Oxide (5.196%). Other Ingredients: Bismuth Oxychloride (CI 77163), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, 77492, 77499), Mica (CI 77019), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Caprylyl Glycol, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Phenoxyethanol, Silica, Sodium Dehydroacetate.|||I don%26#039;t know what company makes the mineral makeup with these ingredients. I used Bare Escentuals and I haven%26#039;t seen all of this in theirs.|||Bismuth Oxychloride is bad stuff. It can clog pores and cause serious itching.|||In a way, yes. Some of those chemicals can dry out your skin. It%26#039;s okay if you have extremely oily skin that%26#039;s acne prone, but if your skin is in the %26quot;so so%26quot; area I would just go with something that is good for acne.|||Nope...the Zinc, Titanium and Iron are all providing a physical sunblock so that is actually good for acne prone skin to help prevent scaring...If you are having concerns though you may want to check out the Mica with your derm...it provides light reflection to perfect the look of skin, but it irritates some people...|||Nope. Mineral cosmetiques are actually healthy for the skin becuz of the nutrients, plus, they don%26#039;t clog pores becuz the (grains) are much bigger than those you find in conventional makeup.

Is smoking weed bad for your acne?

Im all for legalization and I think its harmless in majority of situations (Well I dont think this, I know this, since its backed up by research done at Harvard and UCLA. I dont care about all the ignorant people who use sources from the internet that were done by small independent wannabe-research groups.).....but I have to admit that it probably doesn%26#039;t help acne because it dilates blood vessels just like all smoke does.|||possibly, you%26#039;re putting an unwanted substance into your body.

But I think as well things like pepsi, coca cola, chocolate, high caffeine content things are the worse... Keep drinking the water as boring as it is.

People I know who%26#039;ve used tetracycline have had really good effects, so maybe ask your GP/doctor!

To Guy - %26#039;Im all for legalization and I think its harmless in majority of situations%26#039; - actually research shows that it heightens the likelihood of users to have psychotic/schophrenic breaks and paranoia. And how do I know this is true, my dad smoked weed since he was a teenager and got diagnosed with bipolar last year, the doctor told us the weed wasn%26#039;t the cause of it but it certainly triggered it. If people have underlying issues, weed certainly isn%26#039;t harmless. When my dad was smoking more and more he started hallucinating and believed my mum was trying to kill him, we had to hide all the knifes, etc in our house. Since he%26#039;s stopped smoking all together he%26#039;s much more stable.

People who think cannabis is harmless are really ignorant of the trigger it can be.

I use acne cleanser but i don't have acne....bad?

i use the neutrogena grapefruit acne wash.

i use it cause i needed a face wash and i like the smell. but i don%26#039;t have acne. is it bad for my skin if i use it and don%26#039;t have acne? cause it has like acid in it.

is it going to do anything to my skin?|||just because you dont have acne, it doesnt mean you still cant use it !

think about it, people without pimples still use pimple fighting face wash!

:) and if it helps your skin to clear up, then it is working fine !|||nooo. not bad at all!! i heard that a zit starts forming under skin 2 weeks before it shows up so your like prepared! :P

I'm interested in using a self tanning lotion. Does Jergens natural glow cause breakouts and make acne worse?

I have a few pimples on my face and some minor redness. I am interested in using a self tanner to darken my face to at least make it less noticeable since it is safer then tanning beds and it isn%26#039;t sunny and warm enough for outdoor tanning yet. Will it cause me to have more breakouts and make the acne worse?|||some do. It%26#039;s the fragrance in them that causes irritation. I had no issues with it...I loved it but I would recommend you try a sample first before buying it. The website offers free samples if you sign up...idk if you would want to do that but it%26#039;s better than paying for something that you find out doesn%26#039;t work well with your skin|||I have very sensitive skin and it didn%26#039;t break me out. I would recommend trying a patch test first near your jaw line.

Whenever you use something like that on your face, try to find something that has %26quot;non-comodogenic%26quot; on it%26#039;s label. This means it won%26#039;t clog your pores.

Why could having bad case of acne not let you into the national guard?

i read it in this article first paragraph

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090902/ap_on_re_us/us_slimmer_national_guard|||Severe acne is a health hazard - each zit is an easily opened wound that is almost sure to become infected. If a soldier was constantly hindered because of infections, he%26#039;d not only be less effective than other soldiers, but in case of emergency would be a drain on medical supplies and manpower.

I have bad blemish/acne, nothing works!?

On the right side of my cheek I have bad blemish/acne. I have tried St.Ives Apricot Scrun Blemish%26amp;Blackhead control, Neutrogena, Clearasil and Clean%26amp;Clear! I live in Canada so we don%26#039;t have Proactive..I wash my face two times a day with dove sope but nothing works!|||i had the same problem as you. i would over wash my face with scrubs and face washes. i%26#039;ve tried everything even proactive and yes we do have proactive in canada, but it made my skin even worse!!.. the point is stop using scrubs and harsh products on your skin.. drink lots of water and leave your face alone, it will heal itself.. it worked for me and my skin is now clear.

if you have a pimple you could also try puttin ice on your face.|||i pity you. i too experience acne. i name mine when i get them. Fo example, i have Ramone, Frances and Hula at the moment. i find it makes them more distinguishable.|||My son had acne so bad that they wanted to put him on accutane. Instead we use oxy bar soap. After the wash he uses benzoyl peroxide lotion, then moisturizes with an oil free lotion like Clean and clear night lotion. It has glycolic acid in it to keep the pores clear. Every other day he uses a zinc sulfur mask like Helene Mint Julip Mask. And once a week you can use a glycolic peel. It keeps the pores clear of dead skin. His skin cleared up now! And no accutane was used. Mederma is good if you have any scars or discoloration. This regiment worked for him when none of the drugs worked. He has tried tetracycline, doxycycline, erythramicin, clindamycin.|||My best advice is see a dermatologist. They will be the best experts and can offer much more than a drug store. If they have you try products, introduce them slowly and sparingly.

My boyfriend had the same problem and used Proactive. He later found Kleer Action at Walgreens which is less harsh, has less additives and does the same job!

Dermalogica is my aesthetician-friend%26#039;s absolute favorite for over 9 years. Go to dermalogica.com and find a spa/store that does %26quot;Face Mapping.%26quot; It should be free and is much better than the online version.

Murad, Kinerase, Mario Badesco, MD, La Roushe-Posay and DDF I%26#039;ve heard are all great products. Most of which are too harsh for me.

Other things to keep in mind...

Drink lots of water, eat as healthy as you can and be very cognizant of what touches your face: phones, your hands and fingers, food, clothing, sheets, etc.

Find a good regiment with quality products and stick to it. Same with detergents and any other soaps, etc. that come in contact with your skin.

I try very hard not to touch my face. I make sure I wash and sanitize my hands frequently. I often use the back of my hands or fingers to avoid the natural oil, etc. on my hands.

My boyfriend changes his pillow case daily. We both also use separate towels just for our faces.

And of course - SPF!

Know that your skin will change every 10-15 years. See a dermatologist if you start noticing problems that didn%26#039;t use to exist.

Good luck! I know it%26#039;s frustrating (I have sensitive, combination skin with mild adult acne)!|||i%26#039;ve actually used Clean %26amp; Clear, and it had helped be a little bit.

trust me.....|||try lemon juice //|||Check out something called Murad!! I used proactiv and it was actually too harsh for my face. Try Murad....it smells really good and works well!!

Can acne cream make your acne worse?

It seems like ever since I%26#039;ve been using the Neutrogena Clean %26amp; Clear Acne Cream, my face has only gotten worse. I%26#039;ve been getting more breakouts and they seem to be lasting longer too. Is it possible?|||I%26#039;d say that its definitely because of the face wash. I have naturally really clear skin and when I started washing it I started getting pimples and now I%26#039;ve stopped washing my face and I%26#039;ve stopped getting pimples. Just figure out what works for your face. Is make-up (foundation concealer eyeliner etc) really bad if you have moderate acne?

i have a bit of acne and scars and stuff and when i go outside i pile loads of make up on, it does a great job actually but i was wondering does this make acne worse in the long run?

its not actually made mine worse and i use the non-cosmogenic (something like that) which apparently does not block pores

oh and i cant go outside without make up if i have acne its just not an option !!|||I have acne too which I can sometimes keep under control, but I definitely have to wear foundation to cover some of it. You have to watch out what you%26#039;re putting on your face, even if it says %26quot;non-cosmogenic%26quot;. Three ingredients you should definitely watch out for is %26quot;talc%26quot;, %26quot;bismuth oxychloride%26quot;, and %26quot;cornstarch%26quot;. I think the best makeup for you would be all-natural mineral makeup...that is truly ALL NATURAL.

I%26#039;m not sure what brand of makeup you have, but pretty much all of drug-store makeup contains %26quot;talc%26quot;, which is a cheap filler that can clog pores. So if you use Maybelline, Covergirl, or the sort, look for the ingredient %26quot;talc%26quot;, and AVOID this if you have sensitive skin. Also, if you%26#039;re thinking about trying mineral makeup, read all the ingredients carefully and maybe read about what each ingredient does for you. This is how I found out that Bare Minerals contains %26quot;Bismuth oxychloride%26quot; which is NOT natural by any means...it%26#039;s a skin irritant and some people have reactions to this. So that is why I avoid Bare Minerals, even though they claim everything is %26quot;pure%26quot;.

So...I%26#039;ve done a little research myself and I have found some companies that I think would suit your skin...and actually be healthier for your skin. :) I can give you a list of some companies that honestly use all natural ingredients in their foundations, blushes, everything. I will tell you what I thought about each one::

Everyday Minerals - this is what I use (foundation). I use the matte formula to control my oily skin, and their concealer in %26quot;mint%26quot; and %26quot;multi tasking%26quot; to cover acne flare ups. They are super cheap, just as much as drug store makeup, but they only contain 4 inert ingredients. They have over 30 shades of foundation, so you%26#039;re bound to find a perfect match without having to mix two together. They just have a huge variety of colors and shades, it%26#039;s awesome. Their brushes are the softest too. I highly recommend the Flat-Top Kabuki or the Long-Handled Kabuki brushes. They%26#039;ve never shed on me and I%26#039;ve owned them for about 5 months. One thing, though, that I would NOT recommend you buying is Everyday Minerals%26#039; oil-controlling finishing dust/powder. It contains %26quot;Cornstarch%26quot; which can clog pores too. Instead, I buy my oil-controlling powder and primer from other companies. I will talk about that shortly.. (www.everydayminerals.com)

-Signature Minerals - this company doesn%26#039;t have a huge selection of shades, but they use the same ingredients. I personally liked the way Everyday Minerals went on my skin better than Signature Minerals. I couldn%26#039;t find my perfect shade with this company either, but that%26#039;s just me. You can check them out: www.signatureminerals.com

-L.A. Minerals --- okay... I hear really good things about them but I just could NOT get my foundation to match AT ALL, not matter if I mixed together different ones. They don%26#039;t have a huge selection/variety. But I hear their %26quot;Hollywood%26quot; formula is AWESOME for girls with acne. Covers very very well... but I don%26#039;t know because I couldn%26#039;t find my shade. :( But I DO like their oil-controlling powder, in case you needed that. They are all-natural too: www.laminerals.com

-Fyrinnae - this company is pretty new to me, but I hear that their Rice Powder %26quot;primer%26quot; is AMAZING and will hold your makeup all day. I am patiently waiting for this to come in the mail! Also, I hear their oil-controlling powder is great too, it doesn%26#039;t contain cornstarch either. But I hear their foundations aren%26#039;t that great, who knows.. maybe you would like them. Here%26#039;s their website: www.fyrinnae.com

There are probably a few more websites out there that only use like 4 or 5 all-natural ingredients in their makeup, but I HIGHLY recommend Everyday Minerals for foundation. It really does cover well. You just need to make sure to exfoliate your skin every day with a gentle cleanser (I use Dr. Patricia Wexler%26#039;s acne exfoliating cleanser...sold at any Bath and Body Works store) - and then I use an alcohol-free astringent (alcohol increases oil production, so I try to avoid alcohol in my toner), and then finish with Aveeno%26#039;s Ageless Remedies SPF 30 with shittake moisturizer (LOVE THIS STUFF! works really great as a makeup primer!!) - if your skin is well moisturized, your mineral makeup will adhere better and won%26#039;t look caked up. If your skin is oily, you can try out Everyday Minerals %26quot;Silk Dust%26quot; which I%26#039;m using as my mineral primer right now... but I find it a little %26quot;gritty%26quot;, but it still works great. I%26#039;m hoping once Fyrinnae%26#039;s Rice Powder primer comes in the mail that will work even better...so we%26#039;ll see :) Anyways, check out some samples from Everyday Minerals! It%26#039;s like $3 for shipping and you get 5 jars of samples for free. And try to be patient with this..because it IS an online store so it%26#039;s going to take a little patience to find the right shade. I had to go through like 10 shades in foundations before i found my absolute perfect shade. Good luck and have fun with this :-)|||Just make sure that the make-up you buy is oil-free or says %26quot;non-comedogenic%26quot; somewhere on the packaging and it won%26#039;t make your acne worse.

Anyway, I once watched a tv programme where a dermatologist said that most make-up won%26#039;t make your skin worse, and even if it did a tiny bit, the psychological benefit you get from wearing make-up makes it worth it anyway.|||most make up will block pores and irritate acne prone skin - I have had bad acne for as long as I can remember but have found that MAC make up does not irritate my sensitive skin. MAC make up is a tad more expensive but I recommend it for the following reasons -it was designed for flash photography which means that you wont look pale in photos because it does not reflect the flash. In fact this is how I learned about MAC my wedding photographer insisted I have my makeup done by MAC because of its flawless results . it does not cake-up or seep into pores even after hours of wear. it is not tested on animals.

Ps I understand you concerns about your skin but encourage you to also let you skin breath from always wearing make up. Try find your sense of self worth and self acceptance beyound your skin prblems....it really is liberating when acne no longer controls you. You should wear makeup because you choose to not because you feel you have to. Hope you condition improves

PS try MAC honestly you wont look back -even of your current product has you satisfied

Is acne bad for your skin

it%26#039;s only bad if it gets infected, then it can leave scars|||not only is acne something that people don%26#039;t like and sometimes hurts and is not very attractive it is very bad for your skin

acne is part of life

but acne to excess isn%26#039;t good for your skin

buuuut some of the medications that are out there are good to control the acne, but bad for your organs :(|||Yes-it%26#039;s an infection that can degrade your skin and it%26#039;s potential to do it%26#039;s job. Skin is your body%26#039;s largest organ and your first line of defense against germs, bacteria and infections.

|||It goes away, usually leaving your skin fine, but sometimes with sever cases of acne you can be left with permanent acne scars. Is Turmeric powder bad for acne?

Will it make acne worse if you put it on your skin?

What about these things:

lemon or lime juice

cucumber

tomatoe|||if your indian, no|||Not at all ! All these things well help your acne not be bad for it!

I've been taking acidophilus for about a month now for my stomach problems. Can this make acne worse?

I read up on it a little bit and it said it is supposed to help acne. I%26#039;m 27 and frankly, my forehead hasn%26#039;t looked this bad since I was 16. I was wondering if this is something that will continue - or if it just getting rid of the impurities under my skin - so pimples are coming to the surface. I don%26#039;t want to stop taking it - as my stomach problems have been completely cured!|||I concur that it%26#039;s very unlikely the acidophilus would cause a breakout. I%26#039;ve tried several probiotics, and none of them caused any sort of thing like that. Probiotics work in your intestinal tract and never get close enough to anything to affect your forehead%26#039;s tissue (like through the blood stream, for example).

An allergic reaction COULD cause you to break out or have a rash (among other possibilities). Another possibility is that you might have eaten something that gave you the reaction as well... it%26#039;s hard to say for sure when so many things go into someone%26#039;s mouth in a day.|||I would agree that it us now of no help or even assisting the wrong bacteria to survive. You can reduce the germ level of the house by waiting for winter or using detergent and bleach on everything. Even try washing your face once a week with a little dish soap. If you have contagious eczema use sulfur powder on the pillow and the furniture. Some need to see a doctor as well.|||It isn%26#039;t likely that the acidophilus is the cause. If you were having an allergic reaction to it, it wouldn%26#039;t be acne, it would be in the form of a rash. I would rule that out.

How do you get rid of back acne i got some bad ones cus of all the hairspray and mouse i put in my hair help

What I do works pretty well. If you have heavy acne though, I would recommend a derm. BUT, first, I would try Clinique%26#039;s Acne Solutions bar soap: http://www.clinique.com/templates/produc鈥?/a>

Use a back brush/pouf to wash your back with it...I do my chest as well. I believe you can find a similar acne body wash at Walmart, Target, etc... (no guarantees though, haven%26#039;t tried those!).|||Well you could go to the chemist and look for some special acne cream, and get a face scrub or some face pads to help keep your face grease-free as well. But if that doesn%26#039;t work, go and see your local doctor and they will probably try different branded creams, and give you extra advice. Hope that helped :)|||exfoliate... You can use your regular face scrub.. it works the same as on your face... You can also try a sugar body scrub... It will take a couple times to get rid of everything, but it works

FYI, try not to scrub to hard, you don%26#039;t want to burn your skin

Apply the scrub

Let it dry

wash off|||just get a loofa scrub on the end of a brush so you can scrub your back way better.

they have all over acne treatment body wash from just about all the known facial acne wash brands. or you can even just use the face ones really if you want and scrub your back with that.|||if you find an answer email me please

Does doing a home peel really burn? Would it make my acne worse?

Interested in doing a home peel, but I%26#039;m afraid it%26#039;ll make my acne worse or make my face really red. Any suggestions?|||I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It%26#039;s time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!

Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:

1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn鈥檛 use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured鈥f we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don鈥檛 want us to know.

There is a great website: http://acnehomesolution.com that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.

Pregnant and breaking out with acne BAD! HELP?!!?

I have began to get bad acne on my chest, upper back and face. I am pregnant, so I know thats the cause. What can I do to help minimize these darn black/white heads?! I am all bumpy!|||Soap and water. A lot of acne medicines have harmful drugs in them. Just ask your doctor what you can use, if he has any recommendations. I used soap and water and my face is pretty clear.|||It is said to not use acne medicine if pregnant unless the doctor prescribes you a certian kind. I know that your ob can get this for you or call it in at your nearest drug store. Ask if you can use the body wash with acne medicine in the shower or if that is not ok either. I am not sure on the shower body wash if that is available by prescription.|||Honestly, I never had any luck getting it under control or minimizing it. I use cetaphil cleanser on my back and face (where I have been prone to break out during pregnancy) and it works to clean the area. But I still break out a ton. It is hormonal, not a lot you can do to prevent that. It has nothing to do with the cleanliness of your face or pores.|||as for the body. neutrogena makes a body wash thats by the face products for acne of the body. try that.|||Me too! It started about a week before my missed period.

While I don%26#039;t have any answers for you, I eagerly wait to see what others have to say!|||Don%26#039;t worry at all. The solution is simply to moo until the cows come home. Family relations shall console you in these difficult times.|||drink water 24/7

Well i've acne somedays like sometimes i have like 4 days too bad then next 4days i dont have anything?

what can i do ? can somebody tell me what to do or use?|||Hi Ed the Stud

Here are some ideas to heal the issue.

Quick Action Plan for Acne

1. Massage your skin, where needed, with bergamot, camphor, geranium, juniper, lavender, or neroli essential oils.

2. Ayurvedic practitioners recommend making a paste of 陆 tsp each of turmeric and sandalwood paste with enough water, and applying to pimples. Also, drink half a cup of aloe vera juice twice daily until acne clears.

3. Eat an organic whole foods diet, with plenty of organic cooked and raw vegetables, and whole fruits. Reduce animal fats and stressor foods such as caffeine, refined sugars, and alcohol, as well as colas, candies, and frozen and processed foods. Include more high fiber foods.

4. Drink eight glasses of pure, filtered water daily. Also, daily have two glasses of raw juice, combining carrot, beet, and celery juice, or, carrot, cucumber, and lettuce (not iceberg), and spinach, with carrot predominating.

5. Add 3-5 drops of crab apple flower essence to pure water and drink during the day. Rescue Remedy庐 is good for stress.

6. Combine the tinctures of herbs such as sarsaparilla, burdock, and cleavers in equal parts, taking 陆 tsp three times a day. Drink an infusion of nettle several times a day and apply tea tree oil topically. An infusion of calendula mixed with equal parts of distilled witch hazel can be used as a cleansing wash. Steam sauna your face with red clover, lavender, and strawberry leaves.

7. Useful homeopathy remedies are Pulsatilla, Silicea, Berberis, Ledum, Sulfur, Arsen alb., Belladonna, and/or Carbo veg.

8. Enjoy full body immersion hydrotherapy treatments such as steam baths, saunas, sitz baths, colonic irrigation, hot and/or cold compresses, and steam sauna your face with red clover, lavender, and strawberry leaves.

9. Useful supplements are vitamin A, beta carotene, vitamin B complex, vitamin B6, vitamin C, vitamin E, and zinc. Also include omega-3 fatty acids, brewer%26#039;s yeast, chlorophyll, and pancreatic enzymes with meals.

10. Expose your face to sun and air at least 30 minutes a day, and exercise daily. Keep your skin clean by washing your face three times a day with soap made from the herb calendula officinalis, or using other alternatives to soap. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. Squeezing pimples or whiteheads may cause infection. Keep the skin free of oil and use water-based products. Get sufficient sleep.

11. Make facial masks from natural products; leave on overnight to help dry the skin if acne is caused by excess oil.

12. For long term relief and health be sure to do a colon cleanse. This clears out the toxins in the blood and excess waste in the body. Colon cleansing will healp clear up a lot of issue, expecially acne.

Cause

Acne may be worsened at adolescence, during the pre-menstrual and/or mid-menstrual cycle due to hormonal action, and when under stress, on contraceptives, eating a poor diet that causes an over acidic system, or taking prescription and non-prescription drugs.

Blackheads can form when the oil combines with skin pigments and gets trapped. Blackheads may suggest the need for better hygiene, or magnesium and vitamin A. Chronic, numerous whiteheads can also form during acne outbreaks, suggesting vitamin B1 deficiency or absorption problems. Consistent raised spots on the outside of the arms and sometimes even the thighs, resembling %26quot;chicken skin,%26quot; may suggest need for magnesium, vitamin A, or essential fatty acids or the need to avoid foods that inhibit the absorption of these nutrients, such as trans-fatty acids found in margarine and hydrogenated oils, such as cottonseed oil and palm kernel oil.

Food allergies, allergies to facial creams, soaps, shampoos, makeup, and excess intake of refined sugars, can all cause or contribute to acne. Certain foods can also aggravate acne conditions because of their high-acid forming effects on the body, especially fried foods, trans fats, iodized salt, alcohol, hot and spicy foods, all processed foods, chocolate, fruit juices, carbonated beverages, caffeinated beverages, and dairy products. Excessive long-term intake of seafood or other high iodine foods may also cause acne in some people.

Coexisting gum problems suggest the need for folic acid. A separate acne condition may occur in women 30-40 years old due to physical exercising or working all day with face makeup, lowered resistance due to stress, or hyper-response to bacteria or hormone problems. Another acne problem, acne rosacea (reddish spots in a pattern over nose and cheeks), may be a sign of low B vitamins or low hydrochloric acid in the stomach.

Best of health to you|||I used to be the spottiest kid in my class around the age of 15, so I know how much this can suck :(

I found a fantastic cure was to basically drink loads of water. Aim to drink around 2 litres a day at a minimum, it%26#039;s amazing what water can do for the skin. This may seem too obvious, but trust me, it should help.

Also try to avoid washing your face with soap, and use a dedicated face wash. I use one from Garnier, but the majority of major-brand face wash%26#039;s should be fine. Might be worthwhile looking out for one suitable for sensitive skin if it%26#039;s in the delicate state that acne brings.

I hope these work for you like they worked for me :)

I%26#039;m 22 now, but since the age of about 17 and up I%26#039;ve had lovely clear skin by following these methods.

Merry christmas!

*edit* I did forget to mention that I did visit a doctors about this, and I was prescribed a gel called %26quot;Differin%26quot; which dries out the spots. It did assist with the healing. I was also prescribed pills, unfortunately I cannot remember the name of these pills, but they put me in a bad way and had a really negative impact on me, psychologically.|||go to a dermatologist. they give u prescription stuff for your face. way better than anything u get in stores.|||Acne can be embarrassing at the best of times. I would try going into a site called Epinions.com and find out what users are saying about various products. Good hygene which involves regular bathing helps a lot. Good internal health is a major contributor to healthy skin. Try and stay away from the junk foods. I鈥檝e also had good luck with a product called Acnezine. Try this source I found for more help: Good Luck

If a skin bleaching product for acne spots, says to leave in for an hour, then will overnight be bad?

i applied it only on the spots. do you think using it for over night or a few hours will be safe? im using %26quot;concha nacar%26quot;. have you heard or used this product? how long did it take til you see results with this or another skin bleacher? will using overnight/few hours speed up the bleaching?? thank u|||even leaving a skin bleaching or whitening product on skin for an hour is too long.. i%26#039;ve been using skin lighteners for a while now, and the longest time directed to leave it on skin is 10 minutes.. if you%26#039;re not given the proper directions on how to use your product, then forget about it.. here%26#039;s a better source for safer and more effective products -|||One hour! Doesn%26#039;t equate to %26quot;overnight%26quot;!

If it says %26quot;1 hour%26quot; there%26#039;s a very good reason for it!!

My gosh.

XO,

Pepe|||No. Only use it for the hour like it says in the instructions. using it anymore than that could leave you with a bigger problem than a few acne spots.

I have never heard of Conca Nacar. I know that with the majority of skin lightenting products they say that if you use them properly you will start to see results in 2 to 4 weeks and 8 weeks you will notice a definate change. Make sure you use sunblock on your face everyday (even if it%26#039;s cloudy) to protect your skin from the suns UV Rays since these products (as well as acne products and anti-wrinkle ) cause your skin to be more sensitive to sun....also sun exposure can reverse the skin lightening effect.|||one hour compare to over night....you think|||yes because blech contains acids which can damage the skin it can burn and turn you a very white pasty colour (think bleck blonde hair on your skin) it will also heavily dry out your face.|||NO. Keeping anything that says it%26#039;s bleaching the skin on for more than the alotted time frame is asking for trouble. It can actually BURN holes in your skin.|||Whatever you%26#039;re using, always follow directions written on its container. I haven%26#039;t used the product.|||My dear, when dealing with chemical treatments for your skin, you should always follow the directions. If they say you should only leave it on your skin for an hour, then that%26#039;s what you do! Overnight or %26quot;a few hours%26quot; is likely to damage your skin, or at the least aggravate the problem more.

Follow the directions and only use it for an hour!

Is Masterbation for guys BAD for Acne?

Acne is caused by bacteria that gets caught under your skin when a pore is clogged by dirt, dead skin cells, or sweat and dust. As the bacteria infects the pore, it creates a little pustule, that pustule is a zit. Acne can be treated by chemicals that clear away dead skin cells (salicylic acid) or that kill the bacteria (oral antibiotics or benzoil peroxide).

What does all this have to to do with masturbation, you ask? Nothing. Acne has nothing to do with masturbation.|||That%26#039;s just a pubirty myth that started as a joke. (Just like telling someone that jerking off causes hairy palms....when he looks at his hands, everyone laughs) If you want a no b.s. answer from someone that knows for sure, just ask your docter next time you visit him. Don%26#039;t be embaressed......he already knows you jerk off.|||not that i know of i dont think so|||So you are masturbating other guys and getting acne? Not unless it is getting on your face and you never wash it.

Jacking off will make you go blind tho and hair will grow all over your palms :)|||no, masterbating won%26#039;t cause you to get ance, or make acne worse. they have no relation to eachother.|||no.. dude

its normal to masturbate.. its also normal to experience acne

your acne will go off believe me.. just maintain good hygiene|||I see no obvious correlation, so I%26#039;d say no, but they may come out with a study five years from now that says it does increase acne in guys. You never know.

Generally acne is caused by clogged pores becoming infected with bacteria. Use a cleanser with salicic acid or benzoyl peroxide (if your skin can stand it) to help prevent acne. Clearasil and Oxy work well. Try that to see if the acne problem gets better.|||The two are not even connected. Good grief, were you up all night thinking of this???|||Jerking off doesn%26#039;t cause more zits.

Where are you getting this crap information?|||Masturbation dosent affect ur acne...

Unless your rub it all over your face..

You weirdo...|||masterbation and acne have nothing to do with each other, poor nutrition and not washing your face/body creates acne, not masterbation.|||well, sex helps to get rid of acne by causing you to sweat, heat up, relieves stress and get rid of toxins. masturbation may help with the stress part, but not too sure about the rest. find a partner !

Bad back acne its summer i need help?

Back + acne) used to be really bad in high school. It%26#039;s better now, but still far from ideal. I have Proactiv that I use for my face, and I recently saw a picture of how it helped somebody%26#039;s back on a commercial. I think it%26#039;s working! Maybe try that?

Also, face masks (like the green goopy mud stuff you buy at Longs) can help dry stuff out. I find that my back won%26#039;t get overly dried out the way my face does with that stuff.|||We all know how an acne pimple or spot is formed. We are also aware of loads of products to treat these acne pimples. But all these do is treat the symptoms - the preparations have to be continually used to beat back acne.

What is really needed is an acne cure. The following review site offers three of the best acne cures:

If you have a pimple that just wont go away with any gel or creme or anything.. go to walgreens(so much cheeper there) and buy zeno zit zapper. It is expinsive but works to get rid of a pimple in 24 hours. It uses heat to get rid of the bacteria with not to much pain. JUst lots of warmth. It actually feels good. Any advice at all would be great,

SWAT.|||Just answered a similar question earlier today, lol. Here is what I told them, modified to fit what you seem to be asking! :)

Don%26#039;t use ProActiv, that stuff gets rid of it but if you miss using it one day or switch to a different cleanser you will break out worse than you ever had before you started it.

When you wash your face at night use cooler water, esp. when you rinse off, because the heat can affect the skin and irritate it, no need to scald it. Also, pat dry your skin, don%26#039;t rub and leave it just slightly damp when you do, helps to hydrate the skin so it doesn%26#039;t feel the need to over produce oils for dry skin.

Lavender oil on zits helps to heal them when you get them and prevent scarring, it smells rather strong so if you decide to try it put it on at night after washing your face and are about to go to bed. It works with your skin to heal it, and even though it is an oil it dries out the skin rather than making it oily.

Benzoyl Peroxide is great stuff for on the spot treatments. Get a gel or spot on cream from a store that has this in it and it works wonders.

Toothpaste (stuff with baking soda is the best, paste not gel) works great to calm irritation and help dry them out. Put a dab (don%26#039;t rub in) on your zits every night before bed, leave on over night and wash off next morning.

Also, take cooler showers. The hotter your shower the more likely your skin is to break out, and make sure the soap you are using is being applied with a clean cloth or other scrub so that it can exfoliate the skin a bit and remove any dead skin cells. Using just your hands and a bar of soap doesn%26#039;t do much to remove dead skin cells and just pushes them around (dead skin cells clog pores and are a big CAUSE of acne even though you can%26#039;t see or feel them).

Tempting as it is don%26#039;t pop the nasty things, it makes them worse and can cause infection. Also drink extra water each day and night to help flush out your body and it will help keep your skin clear, avoid soda and greasy or fried foods for two weeks to see if it helps. My one friend breaks out if she eats peanut butter more than if she doesn%26#039;t.

Also, wash your pillow case every week, it helps a LOT I found, and if you can try showering at night so the oils and dirt in your hair that comes from the day doesn%26#039;t rub off onto your pillow, thus embracing your skin with new zits. Wash your towel with them every week or other week two.

Good luck to ya.|||Well,I do have terrible acne and I found that my skin type is sensitive skin and it makes me harder to find the right products that I could use to reduce my acne. That is when I tried Clinique 3 Steps Skincare Regime and it really works for my acne and now I have less breakouts after 3 months usage and I only need to work on my scars from my previous acne to improve my skin complexion.Since Clinique 3 Steps works for all skin types,I would recommend you to try this product since it has the basics of skincare regime and work wonders on your skin. However, you could also try these homemade remedies if you want to improve your chance of healing.Good luck trying these at home(:

Honey Paste-Another easy and effective homemade acne treatment is to make a paste of honey with cinnamon and nutmeg. All you need is about one teaspoon of cinnamon powder and about half of it nutmeg powder. Add some honey to make enough paste to cover the inflammed area completely. Just lie down as honey may dribble down. Wait for 10 to 15 minutes and wash with luke warm water.

Orange peel-Homemade Acne Treatment using Orange peel has been found very effective. Pound the orange peel with water on a piece of stone and apply to acne affected areas.

Basil tea-Basil tea like neem is effective in killing bacteria. Drinking it twice a day can do wonders to the skin.

Coconut Oil-Coconut oil is a cheap and easily available acne solution. Regular use of coconut oil over a period of time helps to clear your skin.

Lemon Juice-A simple remedy at home for acne: Apply lemon juice regularly to reduce pimples and acne. This has proven beneficial results.

She still have few spots on her forehead but in general her face is clear and she only half way through the program. She so excited about been rid of acne for ever.

I know if you want to stop acne in it%26#039;s track this WILL help you.

I%26#039;m wondering this same question! I have it, but not to bad also. I want it gone. lol. Well, hope you find the ointment your looking for.|||just keep it clean and try not to pop them, appearantly it only spreads the bacteria and causes more pimples to pop up.|||Eat heaps of fruit and veggies and don%26#039;t touch your face.

I have overly sensitive skin what acne cream can help my skin not dry up to bad?

And what moisturizer will work ?|||The best thing for you to do is to go to the dermatologist. He or she will be able to prescribe what is best for your skin chemistry and type of acne. Believe it or not, there are different types of acne, and therefore, the over the counter medications you might purchase may be doing little for you.

I have very sensitive skin and light surface acne and my dermatologist prescribed Differin and gave me a lot of different types of moisturizers to try.

For moisturizers, I like the neutrogena moisturizer for sensitive skin. It works amazing well at locking in the moisture all day without irritating my skin. It%26#039;s oil free : )

My skin is now clear, and that would not have happened if I was still using over the counter type stuff, believe me.

P.S. If you have deep acne(blemishes/pimples stay on your skin for a long time and are hard to get rid of) then you need an oral medication(a pill). No topical treatment(toner, cream, etc.) will take care of that. If you have light surface acne, a topical treatment will work, like differin or benzoyl peroxide.|||Proactiv works pretty good. Neutrogena also has a really good line for acne-prone skin. My sister%26#039;s skin is EXTREMELY sensitive %26amp; she uses only Aveena products.|||Have a look here.|||Pro Activ is the best system to use. If not Roden and Field Un Blemish is a gentler more advanced formula made by the same makers just a little more pricely. I love using a vitamin E cream since vitamin e is the best for your complection.|||If you don%26#039;t want to go to a dermatologist, try Proactiv first. I swear it%26#039;s the only thing that%26#039;s worked for me.

How bad does acne define how "unhot?" someone is.?

do ya%26#039;ll not care.

or does it really matter if they have it or not.

i need ladies opinions.

age 13 - 16 would be nice.|||lol

I%26#039;m 16, and a lady. I suffered from severe acne. (not anymore though. just mild to none)

=)

I%26#039;ve seen REALLY hot guys with acne (and dude, i%26#039;m not lying). If you just say %26quot;acne%26quot;, of course it looks %26quot;unhot%26quot;.

But if the person in general is good-looking, then it doesn%26#039;t really matter.|||Jessica Simpsons has admitted gettin acne and loads of other celebs have bad skin too but most of them are hot and they know it.

How long does it take for birth control to leave your system? It caused me to have bad acne?

I decided to go on birth control about 5 months ago and as soon as I started taking it, it caused me to have major breakouts. Prior to taking birth control, I would get pimples here and there but after I started taking birth control, I started to break out all the time. I decided to go off of birth control after 4 months (I was on YAZ for four months and then Ortho Lo for 1 month). Neither pill worked for me....seemed to make my acne worse. I have been off of birth control for about a month and a half and my skin is still breaking out. I can%26#039;t tell if things are starting to clear up. At times it seems like it is, but then I break out again. How long does it take for birth control to get out of your system? I just want things to go back to the way they were! Any one else experience(d) the same thing?|||Remember that birth control is actually a hormone pill. By supplying your body with extra amounts of hormones already supplied in your body, it triggers you to skip the ovulation stage of menstuation. While you won%26#039;t be supplying yourself with that extra hormone (in the form of a birth control pill) anymore, the exact time that your body will take to return itself to normal hormone levels and continue a birth control-free menstruation cycle is completely unique to you. It is very feasable that you broke out so much from the birth control pill because your skin is genetically pre-disposed to breakouts due to excess amounts of that particular hormone. The question isn%26#039;t %26quot;when will it be out of my system,%26quot; it%26#039;s %26quot;now that I%26#039;m not on it any more, when will my system return to normal?%26quot; For example, many women who stop birth control in order to become pregnant can sometimes get pregnant immediately. For others, it can take up to two years. Everyone is different.

If you are concerned about making the breakout go away sooner, see your dermatologist. He or she may recommend a cream to use or be able to give you a shot in order to assist the pimpled-response your body had to the hormone in the pills to resolve more quickly.|||i was on depo for a while and that made me breakout really bad and its taken me like 7 months to get it out of my system....im finally cleared! took forever tho...

it just depends on what bc made you break out, cuz if it was depo, a long time! a pill, probably not toooooo long|||1-3 months to leave your system|||Usually a good 4 weeks, but it depends on how long you have taken it.....instead of going off altogether, why don%26#039;t you discuss with your doctor the side effects and ask if they can give you something that can help with acne....I know there are 100 different BC pills out there, surely there has to be one that you can take that doesn%26#039;t have that side effect!
