Im starting to break out alot on my face and I dont know what to do. I was on ProActive it didnt work for crap. Im done with that and now Im using the Apricot Scrub by St. Ives the ance and blackhead control one. ProActive was suppose to be so good, or so I heard but it didnt work on me and I was on it for months. Dont tell me that it would take time because I didnt see ANY difference while on it. I dont know what else to use. I saw a commercial for I think a Clean and Clear acne kit thats suppose to be %26#039;better%26#039; than proactive or it might%26#039;ve been Neutrogena, Im not sure and then theres another produck that I heard of, TriClear. Does that work? How about Murad? Im like running out of options and I cant see a dermetologist now because theres something wrong with my insurance so thats out. If you have any other suggestions please do share because I feel hopeless and Im out of ideas. :(|||You know Acne sucks!!

%26lt;%26gt;%26lt;|||Try Dermalogica Face Wash.|||It depends what type of skin you have and what works for you.
This is what I do:
Mix baking soda and witch hazel/or water together until it comes to a good constancy, and then spread on your face and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. these two things are very inexpensive and it%26#039;s very easy to do since there is only two ingredients.
Toothpaste is good for drying out your pimple (for some people). Put only a little bit before you go to sleep. Some people use this as a mask but DON鈥楾 EVER DO THIS! It can change your skin tone and make your face discolored.
Aloe vera helps scars lighten and less noticeable (lemon, cocoa butter, witch hazel, and tea tree oil do the same thing). Use the gel (of the aloe plant) or the real thing.
Try to buy a cleanser that works for you, and when you wash your face, open your pores with hot water (not too hot, or it will dry out your skin) and massage it gently into your skin. Then, use cold water at the end to close you pores. The smaller your pores are, the less likely you%26#039;re prone to pimples. Clearasil, Neutrogena, and proactive are good choices to start if you want a cleanser. Don%26#039;t use body soaps because they dry out your skin. Don%26#039;t scrub too hard either, because it can irritate your skin.
An egg yoke can be used to make you pores smaller. I used this when I had pimples. Just take the egg yolk (the yellow part) and leave it on your face for 10-15 minutes and rinse off with warm water and then splash your face with cold water.
Keep your hair out of your face because the oils in your hair could go into your pores. Change you sheets because they%26#039;re are trapped with dirt, oils, etc.
Zinc (type of vitamin) is the one of the best things you can use to get rid of pimples. You can buy these almost about any large store (such as Wal-Mart or Shaws.) Have one tablet per day and try to cut down the junk food and replace it with vegetables and fruits. Drink lots of water and don%26#039;t pop you acne. Popping acne can lead to acne scars.
If you have sensitive skin, don%26#039;t use make up. Some of the things in make up can clog your pores and cause pimples. Keep your hands out of your face as much as you can because you hands a full of bacteria and oils.|||Try using products that contain 1or 2% salicylic acid, aka beta hydroxy acid. BHAs work from the inside out, clearing out your pores and exfoliating dead skin. The aspirin in it helps reduce redness from blemishes. Neutrogena just came out with a great line containing BHAs. Try their Oil-Free Acne Stress Control 3 in 1 Treatment. If you want something fragrance free try Paula%26#039;s Choice BHA Lotions from cosmeticscop.com
Also, it might help to steer clear of harsh cleansers which strip your skin of oil but will just make your acne worse. I use Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser. Hope this helps. Check out the link below if you want to learn more. This website literally saved my skin ever since I came across her book.|||Hi..I have been using this brand called Artistry that has been in the market almost worldwide for 40yrs..It is one of the world top 5 prestige brand and its range of cleanser, toner, moisturiser, exfoliating scrub and masque, really has improved my skin, and also the bodycare products as well...As i%26#039;ve just given birth stretch marks were so ugly till my friend introduced this brand of skincare products to me..Thanks to Artistry my stretch marks is now almost gone..and one thing about this is that for skin it does not take over night to renew with the help of skincare products, it takes time with the help for it to renew our skin in accordances to our hormonal levels.. I cant remember what the name is, but any rep for the company will. This stuff supposedly goes down past the first layer of skin and gets EVERYTHING! Its spendy tho, so I havent actually used it myself.|||Products work for some and don%26#039;t do anything for others. Pick a product - stick with it for a period of time, but/and you may also need to adjust your lifestyle: Changing your pillow case every other day - sleeping only on clean sheets, keeping you hair and hands clean, not wearing dirty hats, caps and altering your diet. Try cutting out refined sugars, milk, juices, sodas, oils (even vegetable oil!) drinking plently of water and getting exercise. You may want to try a detox or fast to clear your system of the impurities that are erupting on your skin. If you are female - try birth control pills to balance your hormone levels. Other home remedies here:
1. Fruits that have lots of acid make great acne-fighting facial masks. Fruits and vegetable are rich in acid that help treat acne problems. Eating fruits and vegetables is a must if you want to be acne free quickly.
2. Crush some garlic and gently daub on acne. A lot of people have said that garlic is one of the best acne home remedies they have ever tried. Garlic is a great natural acne treatment because of its properties and health benefits.
3. Reduce acne swelling by using ice. Ice will reduce inflammation and shrink the size of pores. Cover your acne with ice when it gets swollen.
4. Use pulp of Papaya to cover face. Papaya fruit is a great source of Vitamin A, an antioxidant vitamin that hinders the overproduction of sebum which is a major cause of acne.
5. Stop drinking milk and eating sugar to prevent acne growth. You will prevent acne from appearing if you stop eating sugary foods and drinking pasteurized milk.
6. Eat orange to boost immune system. A strong immune system is essential in fighting acne and other infections.
7. Potato is one of the best acne home remedies. Grate a potato and apply on the affected area for 30 minutes. Potatoes have amazing acne swelling reduction properties.
8. Cucumber can be used in various acne home remedies. Juice made out of cucumber can be taken as a drink or applied directly onto the face.|||I would go for photodynamic therapy. You don%26#039;t need to go to a dermatologist for that. They offer it at a lot of cosmetic places or clinics. Its expensive but after 4 treatments its supposed to work as well as accutane.
You should get yourself a nice cleansing milk, toner, good moisturizer. I use Swisa and its amazing. Takes a week or so to see the results but it works. I use their peel as well and I love it. Totally cuts down the oil.
You could try tea tree oil. It works as well as benzyl peroxide.|||Acne is a very common skin disorder that most young people get in early puberty. It is caused by inflammation of the small oil glands. Log on to http://tipsfromruby-acne.blogspot.com/ for a few home made tips to heal acne .
