Please help! My chin has acne so bad and I don't know what to do.?

Doctor prescribed Dorex and I use Neutragena....Not working...|||i have pretty bad acne (especially when i get sick... =( like now...), so i know how you must feel (it%26#039;s so embarrasing!)

anyway, i%26#039;ve never tried it, but a lot of people say that if you just dab a little honey on the acne spots and put a band-aid over it and let it sit over night, then it should clear up.|||well i get that too. i also sometimes use netrogena and i think that you should just use what the doctor prescribed, because sometimes mixing them can make things worse.|||Pro Active, it works awesome if you use it like they tell you too.|||I had really terrible acne when I was a teen, and I took Zinc, and it cleared it right up :D|||i had severe acne and the only cure that worked for me was the one on this site

Does birth control make acne worse and then better?

i%26#039;m on my 2nd week of microgestin 1 20 fe (the generic verison of Loesterin 1 20 fe) ...i woke up today with a cluster of acne on a part of my face where i%26#039;ve never had acne before! I%26#039;ve always had some acne on my nose, forehead, and chin, but NEVER on my cheeks! i%26#039;m scared it%26#039;s going to keep getting worse, but maybe is it just going to get a little worse and then clear up?|||it makes it worse then better for most ppl|||Yes, you%26#039;re going to have acne the first few days. Your hormones are adjusting. This happened to me, and now my skin is clear.

Try keeping it down by washing your face every night

Good luck! :)|||It makes it better. Testosterone is what creates more acne. As a woman, you want more Estrogen, which provides clear healthy skin. Birth control increases your amount of Estrogen, thereby making your skin clearer.|||Yes. I had a friend who took it last year, and she had perfect skin, like perfect. And she went on it and she started breaking out. But after that, I think you will be fine. All my friends who are on birth control have perfect skin now. Good luck!|||The hormones in the pill effect women differently.

There is no way to tell what will happen with your acne.

It could get better or get worse or stay the same.|||when i was on loesterin 24 i broke out everywhere, and so did one of my friends when she was on it. There are brands of birth control that are better for acne like YAZ or Ortho tri cyclen lo, try those out instead if you don%26#039;t get better within a month. Check out this website, it helped me.

I have bad back acne. Help!?

Mostly my back is bad because of the dark spots from picking at them, not really cause of the acne.

Do you know any homemade thing to get rid of acne or the dark spots?

Thanks!

|||If you want to get rid of back acne, wash regularly. Use an anti-bacterial soap, and try for washing twice a day. Be careful not to over-wash, though, because this can irritate your skin and dry it out. It is also important to shower as soon as possible after any activity that has caused excessive perspiration. When perspiration gets trapped against your skin, it can mix with oils and further clog your pores, which will exacerbate your back acne. This is not good.Exfoliate on a daily to weekly basis to help get rid of dead skin cells that can worsen back acne. Because the skin on your back is thicker than the skin on your face, this is generally safe to do. Experiment with different types of exfoliators - washcloths, loofahs, brushes - and watch your skin for any worsening of the acne or extreme irritation. If you use a scrub, try a sugar-based one rather than one with salt - this will be milder on your skin. Also, reduce the number of times you exfoliate if you notice any bad reactions.Use a medicated cream or gel like benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid if you are going to get rid of back acne. It is best to choose one or the other of these, however, because they can interact negatively with each other if mixed. If you use a benzoyl peroxide (bp) product (some experts have found this to work better than salicylic acid), try to find one with 2.5% bp - this dose has been effective for many people. Apply to your back about ten minutes after washing, twice a day. Be sure you allow time for drying, as these medicated gels can have a bleaching effect and damage clothing. Also, because both benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid tend to be drying, it is good to follow up with an alpha-hydroxy moisturizer. To help get rid of back acne, keep your fabrics clean. This includes towels, pillowcases, bedsheets, t-shirts and bras - and anything else you can think of that might touch your back. Dirty stuff attracts bacteria, and bacteria is really good at starting back acne, so...laundry day might have to happen more often. If you%26#039;re anything like me, this may be a challenge. In that case, good luck. To avoid the possibility of irritation, be sure that your detergents and fabric softeners are hypoallergenic. Natural food stores are good places to find products that are environmentally friendly and chemical free.If nothing seems to get rid of your back acne, see a dermatologist. As I mentioned before, back acne is tough to deal with. You should usually give any new skin regimen at least a few weeks before quitting (unless there%26#039;s irritation), but sometimes nothing you try will give you the results you want. Seek help, too, if you find that you are overly anxious, have low self-esteem or experience depression. There are several back acne treatments that a dermatologist will be able to offer that could make a huge difference for you. |||Stop rinsing your conditioner out and letting it run down the back. flip your head over so that you%26#039;re staring out your knees and wash out that way.|||i have this too, it sucks.

i use tea tree oil body wash [or you could just use tea tree oil], it sems to help with reducing the scarring.

Vitamin E bad for acne?

When I was younger I use to use vitamin E to prevent scars from small pimples, but now than I%26#039;m older and didn%26#039;t stick to the regimen I have mild acne and scaring. I want to get rid of the scars, but I remember the vitamin E was really oily and thick and was wondering if I%26#039;d wake up with tons more zits since I have oily skin to begin with.

Anyone have any experiences?|||You need to prevent the pimples so you don%26#039;t have to treat the scars.

Things to do to help oily face, pimples, blackhead %26amp; the such....

1.) Don鈥檛 ever pick/pop them... If you must pop them wait till they have a head and use cotton balls. Popping causes the oil %26amp; bacteria to go to near by spots and cause more pimples

2.) Wash your face twice a day. Morning and before you get to bed.

3.) Do not over wash your face.

4.) Get a natural soap that contains Tea Tree EO. I get mine at:

http://www.itsyoursoap.com/index.php?mai鈥?/a>

Tea Tree EO kills all the nasty bacteria that causes pimples. A plus this soap doesn鈥檛 smell girly. Smells like peppermint and cools the skin.

5.) Also get an astringent. But use it only every other day because you do not want to send the oil producing pores into overdrive.

If you follow these things for a few weeks your skin will look great

Just remember this dry skin looks old and worn. You face needs a little oil to look youthful.|||I have tried Vitamin E for my acne scars and it really has worked. I haven%26#039;t kept up with the regimen lately but I intend to go back to it because when I was keeping it up it completely got rid of an acne scar I had. I%26#039;ve never woken up with more zits and I also have oily skin. It makes my face look shiny but it doesn%26#039;t matter because I sleep with it on anyway and then wash my face in the morning so it%26#039;s been fine for me.

I have bad back acne?

I have used a lot of things and such and it still remains. I have to go swimming on a trip tomorrow so I%26#039;m wondering if kids will make fun of me or if girls will be grossed out?|||I suggest buying a loofah or something similar that you can use to scrub your back, as it can be a hard to reach area when washing, leading to dirt buildup and then acne. Don%26#039;t scrub too vigorously though, as you don%26#039;t want to damage the sore skin. Try adjusting your diet - e.g. it may be worth cutting down on sugar for a while and seeing what happens. If the problem still persists and it is still bad, perhaps go see your doctor, who can prescribe you antibiotics or other anti-acne medication, though this is not ideal (e.g. you could build up a tolerance to antibiotics, which is bad). Hopefully the links below will help you further. And don%26#039;t worry dude, this a fairly common problem among teens/young ppl, and it will pass. I think most people would not tease you for it.|||To heck with what people think. Everyone has something wrong with them in one way or another. Have fun and don%26#039;t worry about it. If someone does say something just keep in mind they probably are picking on you to make themselves feel better.

And I think actually a little sunshine and fresh air on your back will help.|||they won%26#039;t don%26#039;t worry

if they do, ignore it.

i%26#039;m guessing ur a teen? acne goes away when u are older, you%26#039;ll b the one making fun of the kids with no self esteem who have to make the other kids feel bad about themselves soon enough

it doesnt matter what they think, only what you think. but anyway, i still doubt anyone will care at all.

acne is normal and tons of teens have it|||just go and dont worry about what anybody thinks

and yeah some of them will say ew or whatever but dont let it get to you

and its normal, it will go away when your like in ur 20s :)

so dont worry about it right now

use proactiv i use it:)

its good

good luck and have fun

i hope i helped u a little ;)|||i know a few people who have had bad achne the best thing ive found is to go on sunbeds not for too long though but the sunbed dries the skin out and resuces achne give it a try hope it works for you xxx|||Girls don%26#039;t like acne. period. BUT acne is caused largely by bacteria, astringents tend to help keep bacteria iunder control|||dont listen to them they are just imature!!

IT HAPPENS TO EVERYONE!!!!!!!!

its your body and its none of their beeswax!!!!!

if they notice they are just plain NOSY!!!!!!!|||try proactive.....has any1 been grossed out yet? well anywayz if they are they are jerks! who cares whats on the outside its whats on the inside that matters!|||Dont worry what people think about you. Go to the dermatologist, and they will give you a prescription. It works.|||no,it just shows your further down the road from them. weveryone goes through it, so their day will come.|||get acne cream and wear a shirt with your bathing suit

hope it helped and good luck|||get your mom to scrub it if you cant reach it|||Ok from a girls point of view.. thats sick!

but u no what if your a nice man then it shouldn matter.

just wash your back everynight =]

Is vaseline bad for acne?

Yes because you want to keep your face oil and grease free. Vaseline would in no way help acne. The best thing is to keep your face clean plus there are alot of products out there that can help.|||To the first question, I%26#039;m sure she%26#039;s talking about the face cream. You can get cream aswell as the stuff you put on your lips.

It can make the spots softer, causing them to heal and go away. Unfortuantly, It can spread the spots. Just avoid them while putting it on and don%26#039;t touch the spots then touch other parts of your face. Also, it can clog up your pores if you use too much.

:]|||Its not meant for acne. You should go and try something like washing your face, clearisal, or some product you get from the doctors.|||Given that it%26#039;s petrol based it%26#039;s pretty much appauling for anything.|||it%26#039;s not meant for your face. it%26#039;s meant for chapped lips.|||yes it can clog your pores..oil-free is always great for the skin!|||yes.

Is it bad 4 acne 2 ware foundation every day???

it does tend to make acne worse but if you have acne it makes you want to wear foundation more. I%26#039;ve been wearing makeup since six grade (i%26#039;m 27 now). i didn%26#039;t have any blemishes until I started wearing makeup. I just covered them up with more makeup and they just got worse. I never had acne just ugly pimples. Anyway, a few years ago I started using foundation with salylic acid along with: 1.never sleep with makeup on ,2. don%26#039;t touch your face without washing your hands first, 3. exfoliate those dead skin cells off to let your pores breath. Up until then I had blemishes, not anymore! Something I learned a little later, you don%26#039;t have to buy a foundation with salylic acid in it if you just apply salylic acid straight from a tube to your face. Then you can wear whatever foundation looks the best on you. I love dream matte mouse from maybelline. It%26#039;s fabulous.|||yes if u go to the doc, they have meds for that|||Acne can worsen and wearing foundation everyday prevents your face and skin from receiving oxygen and hydration if always covered up. If you need foundation, i say wear a very thin layer and only when you need to. be sure to keep your skin hydrated and give it a break from any make up, every now and again.|||Make sure you are using a foundation that is OIL-FREE and water based. On the more expensive side, I would suggest Prescriptives or Clinque foundations- they are very light and come in every skin tone. On the less expensive side, I would suggest using CoverGirl H2O foundation- it does a great job of covering up imperfections and is also very light and easy to remove. Another key to wearing foundation on top of acne is making sure to fully remove ALL of your make up every night with a light cleanser. Good luck!|||My dermatologist told me that I could wear makeup as long as it%26#039;s oil-free. Just make sure to wash your face at night before you go to bed.|||Yes, that makes it worse, and causes more acne|||It depends, is your acne being treated by any medications. If the answer is yes, as long as you are using a oil free/hypoallergenic foundation it should be okay. If the acne is not being treated and you are using foundation daily it may be making the situation worse.|||use neatrogena. its a skin company, so they made it to not clog your pores. yes its bad for acne if ur using the wrong kind|||as long as you wash your face before you put it on and before you go to bed, it should be fine. i wear concealor, foundation, and powder, and only i get one or two pimples a month, but that%26#039;s only because i wash my face a lot! i have oily skin, but washing really helps. i use proactiv, and i love it. i also like my foundation because it%26#039;s anti-aging and also has sunblock in it, so my skin looks nice even when i don%26#039;t wear makeup!|||Yes, Your pores need to breath. When you wear foundation they are all blocked up.|||Do you really need to wear foundation everyday? It does nothing, but make your skin worst.|||Yes! It maked it worse... you should see a dermatologist. I bet your acne will clear up in no time and they can recommend make up products for you.

I had acne all through high school, and I probably still would (along with lots of scarring) if I didn%26#039;t see a doctor. My acne cleaned up in about a month and never came back.

Good luck!!|||Try Using a Loose Powder.. They dont clog pores as much!!

Try anything like this... Great Brand of Makeup!|||No it%26#039;s not!

I asked my fav makeup artist about this and he said it would be OK if you take it off in the evening properly!|||that used to happen to me. I switched to a tinted moisturizer. It works just as good as foundation. Try Clinique. Reasonable prices.|||try wearing a foundation that has acne-fighting salicylic acid in it...then you can fight acne and wear foundation all at the same time...

I have one from Avon...
