im 14 (just turned) and ive had pretty bad acne since i was in grade 4.
my dermatoligist put me on acutane (spelling?) but it has gotten worse because i just started a week ago and he said that this will happen.
how can i clear up my skin a bit while i am waiting for the acutane to take effect?|||Wash your face nightly with Dove soap and use a mild face moisturizer. be sure the moisturizer is a mild one since too much oil would increase the acne.|||use pro active or atleast try it|||well do what the doctor said and wait... because if you use anything on your face right now the %26#039;acutane%26#039; might not work.|||wash your face|||dont worry it will clear up. when u go on acutane, all the junk goes to the surface of your pores making you break, after about a week or so your skin will slowly heal and in a month or 2 you will have clear skin =]|||People can give you advice on what to wash your face with. I will give you advice on how to reduce your acne with other methods.
First:
KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF YOUR FACE
Second:
Wash you pillow case!
Third:
If you absolutely have to have your hand on your face keep a material between your hand and your face. For example propping your face up in class use your sleeve or something to reduce the risk of getting the oils in your face.
Fourth:
With whatever your doing keep a regular schedule on washing your face. Once in the Morning and one in the Evening. If it feels dirty wash it. If you skip a beat, I have notice outbreaks are more frequent.
Fifth:
This one I have mixed feelings on... Try to only squeeze pimples that are whiteheads, because there embarrassing. But be careful, this ABSOLUTELY does lead to scarring.
Good Luck and I hope you find peace on this matter, its haunted me my whole teenage life.|||personally i use the Vichy line of product and it clears my skin straight away.
i think if you just wash and put cream on your face regularly it ought to help. sometimes if you wash your face to much it can also cause acne though. but my best recommendation for single zits is to use a good anti-inperfection cream.
hope this helps!!|||do try neutragena products. they r good.i use them all the time. i ll not stop u from having acne at all but it ll help u have it under control...and it s not expensive so u cn totally afford it|||Have your mom look into Arbonne Clear Advantage!!!
