ARE THESE INGREDIENTS IN MINERAL MAKEUP BAD FOR ACNE PRONE SKIN?
Active Ingredient: Zinc Oxide (5.196%). Other Ingredients: Bismuth Oxychloride (CI 77163), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, 77492, 77499), Mica (CI 77019), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Caprylyl Glycol, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Phenoxyethanol, Silica, Sodium Dehydroacetate.|||I don%26#039;t know what company makes the mineral makeup with these ingredients. I used Bare Escentuals and I haven%26#039;t seen all of this in theirs.|||Bismuth Oxychloride is bad stuff. It can clog pores and cause serious itching.|||In a way, yes. Some of those chemicals can dry out your skin. It%26#039;s okay if you have extremely oily skin that%26#039;s acne prone, but if your skin is in the %26quot;so so%26quot; area I would just go with something that is good for acne.|||Nope...the Zinc, Titanium and Iron are all providing a physical sunblock so that is actually good for acne prone skin to help prevent scaring...If you are having concerns though you may want to check out the Mica with your derm...it provides light reflection to perfect the look of skin, but it irritates some people...|||Nope. Mineral cosmetiques are actually healthy for the skin becuz of the nutrients, plus, they don%26#039;t clog pores becuz the (grains) are much bigger than those you find in conventional makeup.
