http://acnecureinfo.blogspot.com|||i used to have pretty bad skin too and tried all sorts of cream for months, but then i decided to stop and just drink plenty of water and splash my face with water a few times a day, turned out the creams were only making it worse!
oh and zinc suppliment too, good for your skin and its natural, not like any other chemical cream.
good luck it worked out for me|||I am in the same postition as you
Try using all the cleaners and spot cream and stuff
and wear concealer/foundation that is hypoalergenic or says clears up spots (always wash it off and then end f the day)|||loads of people have acne including me and you =[.
this worked a bit for me but not much, try toothpaste, hahahahaha. and e45 cream. but nothing really works too well and we have to accept that. =[
sorrii babee =[ x|||i have the same problem i have tried everything nothing works so a month ago my doctor gave me a gel called duac once daily gel it works wonders you really should give it a go all the best|||Have you tried Erythromycin???
gp pescribed medication which works like a roll on deoderant only that instead of underneath the pits you roll it onto your face =]|||okay .. have you tried doxycycline?
its a gp prescribed medication.
i%26#039;ve been on it for about two months and it really works...
either that or the pill?|||don%26#039;t over wash it cos that makes it worse
have you tried oral contraceptives? yasmin has been good for me and cilest is supposedly quite good for spots too|||Im sorry your are having this trouble. Have you considered attacking the problem at its root cause? I have a couple of suggestions which was handed by previous generation and the next before that. Its personal hygiene. Using your own soap. Not letting anyone use your soap. Using a fresh clean towel everytime. Washing your face as frequently as needed. Keeping your face clean. Try not to touch your face as often as you use to. Taking a bath everyday. Wash your pillow case and blanket often. Do not share anything that you use that touches your face. All this will stop future occurence. Go to walgreen and consult the pharmacist. He/she will tell you to look for any product that contains this chemical which I can not remember at this moment LOL and that will stop the current acne problem. Trust me this will work better than what you have tried.|||It sounds like you%26#039;re using a lot of products on your skin. Personally I%26#039;m not a huge fan of antibiotics, and if you%26#039;ve been using them long-term then yes, the bacteria on your skin could have developed an immunity and they could be irritating the skin itself.
As for oral contraceptives, they work for some people, but in others only make things worse and have myriad other side effects, especially long-term.
I know it%26#039;s compulsive to want to wash your face a lot, but don%26#039;t do it more than twice a day.
Also try not to exfoliate more than once a week as this irritates the skin and causes even more rapid cell turnover - and therefore increased chances of pore-clogging.
Try to give yourself days when you wear no makeup.
Green tea and plenty of water are supposed to help as is Vit B5.
Jojoba oil is supposed to help encourage the correct balance of oils on your skin by closely mimicking natural secretions and preventing your skin from over-producing oil (strange but apparently it works, just don%26#039;t use too much in one go!)
You could try tea tree or witch hazel, both of which are excellent antiseptics and anti-inflammatories and will also leave your skin less oily.
You might also consider an (oil-free) moisturiser with zinc in it, as this will (short-term) decrease oil and pore size.
Turmeric is excellent at decreasing inflammation and you can take it in capsule form or mix it with jojoba oil into a paste and use as a face mask to dry out the acne.
You may want to talk to your doctor again about other options if nothing else helps.
Good luck!|||Ok hun. Keep up with the cleansing routine, exfoliation is especially key, just dont over-do it i.e. overwashing as a way to keep your skin %26quot;clean%26quot;. This will make the problem worse since the problem is probably due to an %26quot;imbalance%26quot; of some kind so keep it simple. Try steaming your face by putting hot water in a bowl and holding your face a few inches away, then cover your head and the bowl with a towel trapping in the steam,do this for 10 mins or so,the steam will really help to keep your pores clean naturally. do this about twice per week.
Also, I know some people are really against them but facial tanners (mini sunbeds for the face) can work wonders, dont overuse and always follow the instructions. If possible, natural sunlight is best but again, not too much,a little goes a long way.
Keep make-up to the best minimum you can and wear no make-up whenever possible.
Oh,and last but not least - drink lots of water.
Good luck.x.
